Tropic Disposal was founded in 2005 by Steve Tracy and Paul Rosencrans, after having accumulated over 80 years of experience in the industry. The company began with a simple, hands-on approach to waste management, with Steve himself operating the trucks and managing all aspects of the business. From these humble beginnings, our company has grown significantly, now boasting a fleet of seven trucks and a dedicated team of six skilled drivers. We have always adhered to our original approach, consistently prioritizing hands-on, personalized service to ensure the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

As of 2020, Steve has brought on his son, Tyler, to become the operations officer and ensure the company runs as smoothly as when Steve started it himself. The difference between Tropic Disposal and most other services, is that when you need something, you talk to the man in charge – not someone that tells you “he’s out of office today,” or “let me direct your call to him.” We like to keep our service as fast and simple as possible, with the customer in mind at all times.

Today, Tropic Disposal manages over 350 containers and provides reliable waste disposal services across a wide area, stretching from North Fort Myers all the way down to Marco Island. We proudly serve both Lee and Collier county and are committed to excellence and environmental responsibility in all we do.
